About

Nikole earned her master’s degree in social work from the University of Michigan in 2015, and has since worked with children, adolescents, and adults. Previously, she delivered psychotherapy in a residential setting in Ontario, Canada for youth with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders. Nikole also spent time in North Carolina where she provided intensive in-home therapy and outpatient counseling. Since returning to Michigan, Nikole worked at University Health and Counseling where she was a member of the Survivor Care Team and launched a trauma treatment program. She has expertise in Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR), Interpersonal and Cognitive Behavioral therapies and Motivational Interviewing. Her clinical interests include substance use disorders, mood and anxiety struggles, and a range of trauma diagnosis and concerns.
